CARBONDALE—The sheriff’s office is seeking the
public’s help in identifying two suspects involved
in a thwarted home burglary that occurred Sunday night north
of Carbondale.
According to Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn, a resident
of the home, Derrick Wilson, fired two gunshots at the suspects
after he discovered them trying to enter a door at the residence
at about 8:25 p.m.
“They attempted to gain entry into his home,”
Dunn said Tuesday. “He went to the door and saw them.”
