Students
in Mr. Hill’s fourth-grade class learn about smart eating
from Osage County Extension Agent Fran Richmond, volunteer at the
Body Venture exhibit which was on display Jan. 21 at Lyndon Elementary
School. The showpiece contained larger than life representations
of a human brain, mouth and insides, where volunteers guided and
instructed students on health practices.
Matthew Anshutz, left, and Dillon Meyer, members of Mrs. McCain’s
first-grade class, learn about flossing by practicing with a rope
on a giant tooth chair. |
