remembrance
to be held at I-35 Melvern exit
Area residents wishing
to remember those who lost their lives during the Sept. 11, 2001
attacks on the United States, will gather near the Melvern exit
along Interstate 35, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sept. 11. Participants
are asked to bring American flags to wave at passing motorists on
I-35.
The event was first held in 2002, and has been held annually since.
