The Overbrook Osage County fair peaked Friday, a day early, when
rain washed out much of Saturday’s activities. The demolition
derby, one of the biggest draws of the fair scheduled for Saturday
evening, will be recheduled to September.
Overbrook continued their third evening of fair activities with
the first of two scheduled parades Friday evening. The parade, themed
“Disney Memories,” featured old and new members of the
Disney cast, from the Red Hatters version of The Mickey Mouse Club
to Walt Disney himself.
The parade was scheduled to repeat Saturday, but was cancelled by
Saturday’s rains.
