Toys for Tots campaign continues through Dec. 7

​OSAGE CITY—The Osage City Kiwanis Toys for Tots campaign continues through Dec. 7. In conjunction with the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve and Marine Corp League, new, unwrapped toys may be dropped off at the following Osage City locations, Dollar General Store, McCoy’s Steren Electronics, Osage City Elementary School office, Osage City Library, ECKAN and State Farm Insurance. Suggested age range for toys are three to 10 years of age for both boys and girls.

Some special promotions will be held at various locations. Through Dec. 7, Dollar General will offer 25 percent off toy purchases of $75 or more and McCoy’s Steren Electronics will donate one toy for each three toys purchased.

On Nov. 26, which is the start date of the Christmas on Market Street activities in Osage City, additional drop sites and times will be at the Kiwanis pancake breakfast 7 to 10 a.m. at the Osage County Senior Center; State Farm Insurance from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Christmas on Market Street parade that starts at 6 p.m. will feature empty roaming tubs where toys may be deposited as they go by.

On Dec. 7, the Osage City Library will have a “Books are Fun” book sale from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Osage City toy distribution to tots with an accompanying parent will take place 3 p.m. Dec. 17 at Osage City Library’s community room and last until available toys are distributed.
