County declares burn ban

LYNDON—The Osage County Emergency Management office has declared in a burn ban due to dry weather and high winds.

According to the burn barn policy, no outside burning should take place today.

Monday’s forecast from the Nation Weather Service calls for a high near 78 degrees. South winds will be 15 to 20 mph, increasing to 25 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
