Christmas on Market events set for Saturday

OSAGE CITY—The Osage City Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the annual Christmas on Market Street 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 26.

A full day of activities is being planned. Some of the events already scheduled for the day include Santa Claus, displays, craft show, raffles, street vendors and more.

Other events will include a pancake feed 7 a.m. at the Osage County Senior Center; 8:30 a.m. 5K Jingle Bell run; 9:30 a.m. Santa Claus will parachute into Osage City Airport; 11 a.m. lunch will be served at the senior center; 4 p.m. chili cook-off followed by a chili feed at the senior center; 6 p.m. downtown lighted parade; and the downtown holiday lighting will begin at 7 p.m. Most activities are free and some are by free will donations.
